By purchasing a ticket and/or attending VanWood (the “Event”), You acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that participation in the Event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to outdoor terrain, weather conditions, physical activity, travel, camping, crowds, alcohol service, and other activities associated with a mountain event. I voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of my participation or attendance.

 

I hereby release, waive, and discharge VanWood, the event promoter, venue owners, landowners, sponsors, partners, vendors, volunteers, staff, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my attendance, participation, or presence at the Event, including those caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from my actions or participation in the Event.

 

I certify that I am physically able to participate in the Event and that I am attending voluntarily. If I am purchasing tickets on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and agree to all terms of this Liability Release on their behalf.I understand that this release is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, assigns, and representatives.
